Selective admissions require more than strong grades — they require cohesive positioning, institutional targeting, structured narrative development, and disciplined execution across every component of the application.
We operate across six specialized admissions tracks of equal strategic rigor — delivering tailored institutional strategy, narrative architecture, and milestone control.
Comprehensive strategy for high-school students targeting highly selective U.S. institutions (Ivy League, Stanford, MIT, top research universities), Canadian institutions (U of T, McGill, UBC, Queen's, Waterloo), and UK programs.
Strategic positioning for competitive graduate school candidates applying to top-tier MBA programs, Master of Finance, Business Analytics, Engineering Management, and academic research master's across North America and Europe.
Tailored advisory for pre-law applicants navigating LSAT timing, Credential Assembly Service (CAS), personal statements, diversity/addendum drafting, and strategic school selection across selective U.S. and Canadian law faculties.
Strategic counsel for pre-dental and health sciences applicants targeting direct-entry and professional healthcare programs across Canada and the United States, including prerequisite course auditing, DAT prep planning, and clinical narrative framing.
Guiding international and cross-border families evaluating multi-country university systems, curriculum equivalencies (IB, AP, A-Levels, CBSE, OSSD), currency/tuition optimizations, and student visa processes (F-1 / Canadian Study Permit).
Academic and admissions coordination for student-athletes across NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA, and Canadian U Sports pathways. Northbridge works alongside families and coaches while sport-specific recruiting decisions remain with the athlete, family, coaches, and appropriate recruiting professionals.

Daniel Ken is the Founder and Principal Strategist of Northbridge Academic Services, an independent Florida-based academic and admissions advisory practice.
Daniel holds an MBA from Rice University (2000), an MS in Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2002), and an MPhil in Education from the University of Cambridge (2006). He brings approximately 15 years of experience involving college admissions, student academic profiling, institutional selection, and application strategy.
Before establishing Northbridge, Daniel worked as an education advisor with AECC Global and TC Global. He supported or contributed to more than 100 student cases through earlier advisory and professional learning roles. Earlier in his career, he also worked in banking and served as a Vice President at JPMorgan Chase, experience that informs the structured analysis, discretion, and practical decision-making he brings to complex student and family situations.
Northbridge handles the academic, admissions, and application-planning side of a student-athlete's college journey. We work alongside coaches and athletic programs without replacing their recruiting role or interfering with the coach-family relationship.
A coach may introduce Northbridge to a family, or the family may contact us directly. An introduction does not require the coach or organization to endorse Northbridge, guarantee our work, or assume responsibility for a family's decision to engage us.
Click through the 5 milestones below. The Core Academic Track applies to every applicant type (undergraduate, graduate, law, dental), with specialized athletic recruitment milestones detailed alongside.
Transparent, authentic advisory with verifiable legal standing. We advise families across the United States, Canada, the UK, and international jurisdictions.
Northbridge is a registered Florida-based advisory firm working directly with student-athlete and academic families across the US and Canada, including cases spanning NCAA Division III tennis recruitment, Canadian dentistry-program pathways, and graduate/master's admissions strategy.
A Canadian student-athlete secured admission to Trinity University in Texas with more than $30,000 in merit-based financial support. Trinity University competes in NCAA Division III and does not award athletic scholarships. Northbridge supported institutional targeting, academic positioning, application strategy, and coordination alongside the student's tennis recruitment.
Astha was admitted to a specialized master's program at the University of Guelph following comprehensive application strategy and academic positioning.
Comprehensive prerequisite course navigation, DAT timeline strategy, and clinical narrative framing for competitive Canadian dentistry direct-entry and professional school pathways.
Multi-jurisdiction admissions execution harmonizing Common App, Coalition, OUAC, and UCAS application portals with cross-border visa and scholarship optimization.
Northbridge does not guarantee admission, scholarships, financial aid, or athletic recruitment outcomes. NCAA Division III institutions do not award athletic scholarships. Any financial support referenced in a Division III case represents merit-based or need-based institutional aid. Outcomes vary according to the student's profile, institutional policies, and individual circumstances.
